How Can Diabetes Along With Hypertension And Hypothyroidism Be Treated?

Good afternoon sir My mother developed diabetes at an age of 68. Her symptoms went unnoticed and she was not treated till now. Her Hb1Ac as on November 2016 was 7.9 n RBS of 134. She is taking medicines for hypertension, hypothyroidism and varicose veins. She is very obese. Is there any other medicine other than metformin t o treat her condition?

Hello,

Consult a physician and get evaluated. Do a fasting blood sugar and start drugs like metformin. If blood sugar remains high, insulin has to be started.
