Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Type 1 diabetes has no cure but it can be managed efficiently. It is insulin dependent & a chronic condition. The patients with type 1 diabetes should follow a healthy lifestyle, stay away from addictions, stress & anxiety. They should always stay under the treatment of their doctor for blood sugar levels needs to be constantly monitored & medications & dosage depends upon the condition of the patient. Diet charting by the treating doctor or a nutritionist should be done. Regular exercise is a must. Any symptoms like thirst, fatigue, dizziness, confusion, palpitation, nausea, etc., should be reported without delay. Foot, eye & skin care should be done on a regular basis.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K.
