How Can Diarrhea Along With Breathing Difficulty Be Treated?

I have a 7 yr old who has had diarrhea today...watery...and just complained of not being able to breath well. gave albuterol and he is still taking very deep breaths. Like he can t get enough air. He complains of abdominal pain. I have been holding him and when he drifts off to sleep his breathing stops. 10-20 seconds until he wakes. Should I take him to urgent care or the ed?

Yes the child needs urgent care because it is apnoea that is cessation of breath which you have noticed. Diarrhea can be treated by maintaining electrolyte balance through IV fluids but on the other hand Child's level of consciousness and response should be hourly monitored.
