How Can Diarrhea Be Managed While On Keflex?
My mother was prescribed Keflex-250mg and I see that one of the side affects is diarrahea. She has gotten the dirrahea from ciprofloxacin and cindyamycein-is this similar to those? I do not want a repeat of that. She is almost 88 years old and its not good.

Cephalosporins are notorius to cause diarrhea caused by clostridium difficile and it can also be caused by ciprofloxacillin and clindamycin.
If I were your doctor, I would replace keflex with a macrolide or aminoglycosides.
