How Can Diarrhea Be Treated While Suffering From Diverticulitis?
After broken hip surgery, I had severe constipation for at least two months. Coming home after OT and PT, I almost immediately developed diarrhea. Now I have one or the other almost every day. Today my DR said I have diverticulitis and has prescribed two antibiotics for a week. I have what seems severe stomach rumblings and some gas. Do you agree I need antibiotics, or what do you recommend?

If you are having diverticulitis then antibiotics are necessary other wise start anti-diarrhea drugs like Sporlac DS, Redotil,and lot of liquid orally.
