How Can Diarrhea Be Treated?

my son had a recent bout of diarrhea. postive results for lactoferritin found most likely an inflammatory bowel disease. i also have same. while waiting for first appointment with gastroenterologist what can i do. we are leaving for a cruise in 5 days

- Take enough oral rehydration therapy sachets with you during your cruise trip.
- Take oral medicine like tablet.Metronidazoel and tablet.ciprofloxacin combination twice daily for 5 days
