How Can Diarrhea In An Infant Be Treated?

Dear sir, My baby is 3 months old she is suffering from diarrhoea from last 15 days I refer her to doctor, we did stool investigation aslo in that pus cells and red blood cells are found. So please sir/mam give me advice to what to do. Already bacillus clousii liquid, cefixime drops started but result as it is. ( Diarrhoea like Mucus and watery greenish colour.) Please sir give me advice

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It takes little bit time to recover completely. Nothing to worry and just make sure that he is not dehydrated. Continue antibiotics and continue breast feed. In infants bowel is not that much matured and thus it takes time to recover completely.
