How Can Diarrhea In An Infant Be Treated?

Hlo, my baby is 6 months old.... she has diarrhea, when I give her biscuit, or dipped bread or bnana puree then she pass stole within one hour. And pass stole 4 to 5 times a day at every given semisolid food. This pattern she adopted for about 15 days ago. She is on breastfeed and also take cerelac but seems to wanna eat more food..... Is its not the matter of worrying if she is passing stole like this.... Stole is mostly mucous not a proper as she did before having semisolid food.moreover in case of cerelac she passes stole after 4 to 5 hours..... I am much concerning want to find your opinion?

Hi,

Welcome to Healthcare Magic. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If one is breastfeeding, then try to breastfeed as much as possible and that is the best nutrition for baby and give fluids as much as possible. Don't worry, baby is not habitual for food and so it happens.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Take care.
