How Can Discomfort In The Throat Be Treated?

I ve been poking around my tonsils a bit for the past few days to get out tonsil stones, and I ve had a feeling of something being off in my mouth which has increased the poking. I ve got all the stones out and all my crypts seem clear, but I still felt it so I looked around and just above my right tonsil, I have slighter redder lines (veins?) and I noticed that I have smallish bumps, they re not painful, they re just uncomfortable and they don t seem to match things I ve found online. They re a bit pimply like, but really small. Are they just caused by me poking and irritating that area or are they something else? they re only on the side I ve been poking at.

General Surgeon 's  Response
It is dangerous to poke at your tonsils. It can cause bleeding, infection and related complications. Please get examined by an E.N.T surgeon, and the doctor can diagnose your condition and provide appropriate treatment.
