How Can Diverticulitis And Abdominal Pain Be Treated?

I suffer from diverticulitis two or three times a year. I have hadLower abdominal pain for the last 3 days off and on. I also have started with a pain in my left side and my left groin today. I am not running a fever. But I am having fatigue. I also have isolated bouts of diarrhea. I have an appointment with my gynecologist in the morning. I want to make sure that it’s nothing more serious that I should have checked sooner.

Hello,

If it's diverticulitis, then start antibiotics and it will go away If you are having recurrent diverticulitis, then you need lifestyle modification like increased intake of high fiber diet and adequate water intake, which will prevent diverticulitis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
