How Can Dizziness Along With Muscle Weakness And Insomnia Be Treated?
Hello. I m on day number 6 of the flu. I have been eating very small amounts of food, can only intake so much water, have leg muscle weakness, sometimes dizzy, not sleeping well, can t take any meds like Nyquil and barely an Aleve. People keep telling me to go to the doctor but what can they do for me at this point? Feeling hopeless, and sick and tired of being sick, and tired. :(
Unfortunately, symptoms of the flu can last up to 2 weeks, some persons may feel fatigued for up to 3 weeks. There are some instances of flu that require intensive treatment. If you have severe coughing, chest pain, shortness of breath and severe weakness, then you should be seen.
If these are not present, then rest, and take medications for specific symptoms can be used
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Michelle Gibson James
