Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been getting very dizzy. A lot when I move around and I get very hot. I have taken blood pressure medication and it helped for a while but then I got sick taking it, so I stopped. My blood pressure is normal. I have been to an Ent doctor and an allergist and have had my eyes checked. I am miserable and want my life back.
There I have read through your questions and understand your concern. If you are having High blood pressure and you are not taking medications it may lead to dizziness. You have not mentioned which anti-hypertensive you were taking but if it was causing any side-effects, you can consult your physician and switch to a different anti-hypertensive. Another cause for your dizziness can be benign positional vertigo. It can be diagnosed by a physician by running some tests like turntable test. If diagnosed you may be required to take a Betahistine like Vertin.
I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Nazma.amman, General & Family Physician
