can I see a exercise for a Bppv I have the same symptom that I read about turn my head a certain way I get dizzy light headed it first came to me 6 months ago , now in the last few days it seems to come on more often during the day and when I walk up , I notice if I sleep on my left side its not there , but if I wake up on my right side I get up dizzy.
If you have confirmed diagnosis of BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo), then do following:
- If vertigo is severe, take tablet Cinnarizine or Prochlorperazine as and when required basis upon consultation with physician. - Do not get up or sleep in sudden motion. - Avoid sudden rotation of head. - Do epley's maneuver (details are available on internet), 2 to 3 times a day. - During this maneuver you may feel dizzy but there is nothing to worry. - Also, anti-vertigo exercises of eye are available on internet. These exercises you can do after consultation with ENT specialist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Hiren Hirpara
