How Can Dry Cough Along With Fever And Headache Be Treated?
My 11 year old daughter has a dry cough, low grade fever and is complaining of headache from mild to at times really bothering her. Her temperature is ranging from normal to 100.6. Even when her temp reads normal her body is very warm. I ve been giving her childrens tylenol since yesterday afternoon every 4-6 hours. At bedtime I gave her a cold and cough medicine with acetaminophen. Even with acetaminophen she is still complaining about her headache. How many days can I give her tylenol and how much longer can I wait it out before I have her seen by a doctor. She also has a nebulizer which we have been using and may or may not be helping.

Hello Dear. You can get some blood investigations from near by lab. Complete blood count, malaria parasite test, dengue test, widal test, urine analysis. This will give a clear picture whether the fever is just viral fever or any other pathology. Meanwhile continue with paracetamol tablets. If breathless continue with asthalin nebulization.
