How Can Dry Cough Be Treated?

My wife having a dry cough since last six month .She has done all test BT tests report is normal.but the cough and shore throat persists.doctor advice to take montair lc,So she is taking continu since 3 month BT when he discontinued.The problem again come of cough.Pulse advice

I understand your concern.
Dry cough could have been persistent due to allergic origin.
She needs to take the medication which has been prescribed regularly. Along with it, she needs to do salt water gargling with warm water twice daily. Also, intake of steam inhalation would also help.
In addition, throat soothening agents can also help to relieve the symptoms.
