How Can Dry Rashes On The Hands Be Treated?

My hands are breaking out in some weird (VERY dry and cracking but in spots )way and I was previously prescribed Clorbatesol to clear it up and it had helped. My friend who works in the same environment I do has had this too and her doctor said it was a fungus and to use lotion and wear gloves...... I have no clue what it is.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It would be best to see a dermatologist, especially if other persons in the same environment have a similar rash.

This would allow you to get an accurate diagnosis of the problem so that it can be appropriately treated.
Your doctor can refer you to a dermatologist in the area.

I hope this helps
