Allergist and Immunologist 's  Response
Hello Janardhan,

Thank you for asking at HCM.

I went through your history and would like to make following suggestions for you:

1. I usually suggest my such patients combination of monteluakst and levocetirizine of fexofenadine for minimum 4 weeks regularly. It will control your symptoms but will not "cure" allergy.

2. For allergy, I would suggest you allergy testing for common allergy causing substances like - house dust mites, insect proteins, indoor molds, common pollens in your area, pet dander (if you have pets), etc.

This will help you identify the substances causing allergy symptoms to you and also to know the measures to avoid them. (As you say you are allergic to dust, the dust usually contain above mentioned particles within them).

3. Based on allergy testing, an Allergist-Immunologist may prescribe you allergen specific immunotherapy which works on immune system to gradually improve allergy symptoms.

4. In general, I would suggest you to avoid exposure to dusts, smokes and air pollution.

5. A healthy diet and regular breathing exercise will help you in a long run by improving your immunity and lung capacity.

Hope above suggestions will be helpful to you.

Should you have any further query, please feel free to ask at HCM.

Wish you the best of the health ahead.

Thank you & Regards.
