Hello,
But at this age, I advise you to stay safe. After the meal, if you feel burning sensation or pain, please take an
antacid.
After the meal, if you feel too much full stomach, please take enzymes.
Some foods may trigger
dyspepsia. These foods may include fatty, fried and spicy foods; carbonated beverages; caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee and tea; alcohol; cocoa; chocolate; citrus fruits and juices; tomato products; and peppermint.
These foods can increase stomach acid. Keep a track of foods that cause symptoms or dyspepsia and omit any food that causes discomfort.
Otherwise, all other foods are good but if you can determine any food item is problematic for you, avoid it.
No alcohol and coffee, again. Have light diets (easy to digest). No oily and spicy food is allowed.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Dipan Samanta, General & Family Physician
