How Can Ear Congestion And Tinnitus Be Treated?

I have been dealing with blocked ears, ringing in both ears, fluid inside my ear behind the ear drum on left side, itching in mostly the left one, been put on two different antibiotics and then Predisone which after only three days of taking it I came down with a UTI it seems. This morning I passed a kidney stone I think and now have blood in my urine. I have stopped taking the Predisone 20mg as it was causing me pain. I could not even make it to the bathroom to urinate several times. I had pain in my lower back right side yesterday. I am also on blood pressure medication and have been very stressed out over this as I was just terminated from my job this last Tuesday. I am in a bad situation here.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I advice you to check your blood sugar level. Regarding your ear infection seems it is a fungal infection as itching is present. If there is any discharge for ear send it for culture and sensitivity. For ear infection take tab. Fluconazole OD for a week. Tab. Augmentin two times a day for a week. Augmentin will also help incase of UTI. Drink lot of water. Take syrup cital in 1 glass of water at night.
