How Can Ear Congestion Be Treated?
Thank you! I am just getting over a cold virus after 8 days. My left ear has felt mildly blocked off and on Today I feel my left eardrum feels quite blocked with with pain coming from behind my ear in the skull region . What should I do for treatment?

Hello,
You are having upper respiratory tract infection and so referred pain in the ear can occur. Eustachian tube oedema also can lead such presentation.
You need to prescribe Benadryl like a decongestant drug. Steam inhalation with warm water three times a day also beneficial. I suggest you consult otorhinolaryngologist for detailed evaluation.
