Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I just used so ear wax removal cleaner on my ears. I did the right ear last night, and the left this morning. My left ear seems fine but might right ear is still clogged. I swabbed it a cotton swab. And I rinsed it with shower water. Could I have something stuck in my ear canal, or do I need to use the ear drops again?
You have ear congestion which seems to be due to fungal infection, wax builds up, fluid accumulation, and systemic disease infection. I would suggest you apply warm dry compresses to the external ear. Consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis. The doctor may examine by otoscopic means to check the level of infection. The doctor may prescribe antibiotics amoxicillin at least for a week along with decongestants. You should go for audiometric testing as well to check the hearing level. Do warm saline gargles and take steam inhalation twice a day. Put Otogesic ear drops.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
