How Can Ear Infection And Sinusitis Be Treated?

Hello Doctor, I am suffering from ear infection for past 1 week and I already consulted an ENT specialist and it s being repeated yearly, this is third time consecutively. A year long back I was diagnosed with sinusitis and later in 6 months it got healed and this time when I consulted the same Dr for ear treatment it came to know after a nose-ear endoscopy and CT scan that openings of sinusitis are blocked and there has to been done a laser surgery. So I am looking for alternative advice or suggestions. Please kindly anyone respond to this.

Recurrent sinusitis and ear infections can be a sign of allergy, primarily to dust. Try to keep your room dust free and clean. And inhale steam everyday twice or thrice. You can take a small dose of Cetrizine( an anti allergic drug) once before you go to sleep, for one two week. The earache is due to referred pain from sinus or throat. Don't worry. It's nothing major. If it's not getting better, maybe taking a PBS xray and consulting an ENT consultant will help
