Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
i went to the er on thursday for a bad ear infection and when i woke up this morning it slightly ruptured and puss and blood came out and its been bleeding all day on and off and there is a high pitch ringing that hasnt stoped sense it ruptured should i go back to the er
I think that the first time that you were to the ORL or ENT emergency department they prescribed you antibiotics (you have given no information for the drugs). If they did not, I suggest that you take some with the prescription of a doctor, most probably Cephalosporins 3rd generation.
I think the ENT doctor needs to look carefully with a Ottoscope inside your ear and see whats going on, most probably they will do even a head X-ray or MRI.
I do highly recommend that You go back to the ER.
All the best, Dr. Eni.
