How Can Elevated Blood Pressure Levels Be Treated?
Hi Doctor, I am 79 yrs old whenever i measure my bp i find upper level is almost alright but the lower level of bp is on the higher side what is the reason n cure of it. I also have type 2 diabetes for last 7 yrs, thyroid higher one n also pain in knees plus acidity got menopause in fortys. I have been anaemic lack of calcium abag of deseases kindly advise for diet n medication pl

I think you have to do some detailed examinations before starting medications. You should have your thyroid hormone levels checked then take the medication for it and evaluate the hypertension at doctor's office. Your doctor will give the medications suitable for you. First line medication for hypertension are diuretics.
