Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

For high blood pressure rule out secondary causes of hypertension like cardiac cause, endocrine cause, psychological causes, renal cause etc.

Investigation that can be done are renal Doppler angiogram, urine VMA estimation, EKG, USG abdomen, serum urea, creatinine etc.

If no secondary causes present than it can be essential hypertension and Lisinopril is good drug for high blood pressure.

The Amlodipine, Hydrochlorothiazide, etc. also good drug of choice.

Consult cardiologist for examination and discuss my answer.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
