How Can Elevated Liver Enzymes And Abdominal Bloating Be Treated?
I have a friend with type 2 diabetes. She follows a very strict diet and dose not cheat. The medication she was taking stoped working. Her liver enzymes became elevated and she had issues with her pancreas. She has problems with bloating, nausea and pain in her liver. Now she is seeing black spots in her left eye. They finally got her sugar levels back to where they should be with insulin. However, the above mentioned symptoms continue. Remember, she lives on a very strict diet. My question is...Will these symptoms go away now that her sugar is back under control?
The description you have given suggestive of severe gastritis or acid reflux. As a first line management you can take antacids like Pantoprazole or Omeprazole for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist, better to consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
