Hi,

Elevation of liver enzymes can be caused by damage of the liver cells hepatocytes. This is common in drug use, alcohol intake, Hepatitis - infection of the liver by virus viral hepatitis, ( A B C ). The treatment depend on the causes. No known direct treatment but can treat the cause, and take fluids, vitamins, fruits and vegetables. Avoid meat ( proteins) and give it time. Investigations needs to be done to establish the cause as you treat conservatively.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mutuma Geoffrey Zambezi
