How Can Emphysema Be Treated?
i HAD A SURGERY FOR A POLYP IN 2012. A YEAR AFTER I HAD AN HERNIA FROM THE SURGERY. i HAVE EMPHYSEMA AND SO FAR 2 DOCTORS SAID BECAUSE OF MY BREATHING I CANNOT HAVE A COLONOSPY BECAUSE I WILL DIE. 30 YEARS AGO I HAD COLON CANCER SPREAD TO THE LIVER i AM 82 YEARS OLD AND DON T KNOW WHAT TO DO.

Unfortunately you have advanced disease and thus curative surgery is not possible.
You can opt for palliative chemotherapy to reduce tumor burden and pain relief.
Consult an oncologist and he will direct you accordingly.
