How Can Excessive Thinning Of Hair Be Treated?

Hello, I am a 29 year old lady.I got dengue last year in july, it was pretty chronic and took almost 3 months for me to recover. I started having excessive hair faill after 3 months of dengue, and it lasted for about two months and now my hair has really become thin and its volume is less,Last month again I started having hair fall, I got my tests for ferritin, vitamin D, thyroid, haemoglobin, all results are normal. Infact ferritin level is 52,which is good enough.Last week I went to see s dermatologist, she asked me to get trichogram test, the result was that 30%of hair plucked was club hair, so she asked me to use hair 4 u solution (2%) for about 3-4 months. I am just worried about the side effects of this medication, that if I stop it, the hair fall will start again. Please suggest.

Excessive thinning of hair as per your query means you have alopecia problem which could be due to genetic factor, fungal infection and hormonal changes. Stress could be an additional factor. I would suggest you to consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may order skin patch test , blood test and physical examination and may prescribe you drug like finpecia at least for 3-4 months or anti fungal treatment along with minoxidil spray. Take diet rich in supplements like Vitamin A ,Omega-3 and Vitamin E. Take Indian goose berry powder ( half spoon ) with water once a day and use almond oil
