Every year around October, I start to get acne’s all over my face. Last two years , it was gone after January. So here it is again! I am taking care of food that I eat and drink a plenty of water. I can say I have quite healthy lifestyle. Is it an seasonal allergy ? How should I fix the problem and prevent for next year?thanks
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have facial acne which is very common problem and seems to be due to hormonal changes, stress, oily skin and excessive exposure to sun are all possible causes for this. I would suggest you to exfoliate your skin with non comedogenic exfoliant once a week to remove dead skin. Wash your face with face wash containing benzoyl peroxide then apply cream containing azelaic acid which is safe and very effective. If condition doesn't get better in a month then consult dermatologist for proper diagnosis and treatment. Doctor may prescribe retinoid ointment and antibiotic like clindamycin. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables also drink plenty of water. Apply vitamin E before going to bed to fine texture of skin.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
