Hi, one year ago i started bodybuilding. i have taken creatin for body building, but after some time i ve started noticing that i m having an acne breakout on my face. so i started using benzoyl peroxide with astringent two times a day. It solved my problems for around three months, but now as i am not using it ,i am having frequent breakouts on my skin. I don't want to use benzoyl peroxide any more as it peels our skin and have strong reactions. please suggest me what should i do.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of facial skin acne breakouts which occurs as skin pores gets clogged and bacteria cause infection inside and form severe acne. I would suggest you to apply azelaic acid cream twice a day after washing your face with cold water and non comedogenic face wash containing benzoyl peroxide. Avoid excessive oily and greasy food products. Apply turmeric powder mix with raw honey for 15 minutes daily and then wash face with simple water . protect your skin from excessive sun exposure. Exfoliated your skin with alcohol based exfoliant twice a week If condition doesn't get better then consult dermatologist . Doctor may prescribe antibiotics ( clindamycin ) along with isotretinoin.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have facial skin acne breakouts which could be due to blockage of pores of skin with dead bacteria and dust. I would suggest you to start applying mashed potatoes on your skin and keep it for 10-15 mins . You should give daily application of Glycolic acid 6 percent and retino a cream over your scars as it will lighten scars. Apply cotton dipped in tea tree oil and apply them on scars. Don't use ant cosmetics and hard substances on face. You should exfoliate your face once a week and apply aloe vera gel and apply azelaic acid containing cream. Take diet rich in vitamin E. Drink plenty of water. Visit dermatologist once and get it examined and go for micro-peeling and dermabrasion. You can apply aloe vera gel on them as well.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Get Well soon.

Best Wishes,
