How Can Fever Along With Body Ache Be Treated?

I m a 66 year old male. I ve had this fever for three days. I take Tylenol and the fever breaks, then it comes back in a few hours and I repeat the cycle. I ve had some aches and pains, but no throwing up. I ve tried to keep fluids in me as best I can. Any ideas

Would like to ask certain questions for better analysis of picture.
Usually if it is viral flu,fever goes away in maximum 3-4 days.If still getting fever,
What type of fever you get,is it high grade or low grade?Whether fever is continuous or intermittent (comes and goes by itself)?
Any associated symptoms like cough,cold,decreased appetite,nausea,burning micturation,headache or abdominal pain,abscess anywhere over body?
If any of these symptom is present,further treatment depends upon taking antibiotic course(under physician's supervision) and doing investigations if necessary.
