Hi Thanks for trusting healthcaremagic for your health issues.
First of all let me ask you some questions. How old your daughter is? How many sputum samples has been taken? - at least 2 positive required. or 1 positive with x-ray probability. Which treatment has been given?
All these points are important as TB treatment is given according to guidelines (category 1 & r) for which there are different drug schedules. If proper treatment is started and completed then there is complete cure and no relapse.
Second thing lung lesions will resolve slowly so x-ray normality will take some time. If appetite is normalized and fever is resolved then treatment should be continued.
I hopee this will help you. If any query again you can ask.
Regards DR. Hiren
