How Can Fever And UTI Be Treated?
good morning sir iam narendra from tirupathi my fater had some problem urine is automatic it comes urine color is brown body tempeture is 100 to 103 contiuous iam using dolo 650 for fever please tell me sir how to reduce fever and urine infection

Hello,
The fever would respond to round the clock Dolo 650, to be taken 8 hrly. You can do his cold sponging with tap water.
Urine routine examination and culture are indicated. He should be on some empirical antibiotics like Norflox twice a day.
Antibiotic can be escalated or de-escalated according to the culture report. Some urine alkalisers would help to alter the urine PH and provide relief to his urinary complaints.
He should have plenty of oral fluids and water and maintain hygiene. He can have apple cedar vinegar and cranberry juice.
An abdominal ultrasound is indicated to rule out a focus like stone, enlarged prostate and to document cystitis-bladder infection
