Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My daughter has a fever holding around 101.5. It was as high as 102.9 at 12:30am Saturday. I have treated her with Tylenol periodically, as well as zicam zinc chews for kids. She was sleepy yesterday, but is perky today. She coughs occasionally and has a bit of a stuffy runny nose. She also has a rash on her face and chest. Her throat is not sore and she has no body aches. Continue to hydrate and treat with Tylenol as necessary? I haven t given her Tylenol since 7pm last night. I figured the fever of 101-101.5 is fighting the virus. Please advise. THank you

The symptoms seem to be related to an upper respiratory tract infection. Some advice that I can give to you are :
-Give Tylenol 3 times a day(every 6 hours) -Give liquids -You can use a humidifier at home or saline nasal sprays -Use a cough syrup for the cough
