How Can Fever And Cold In An Infant Be Treated?

My daughter is 10 months old and she s suffering from fever, cold and cough. I have some syrups but what syrup is for what I don t know pls tell me. I have zincold-PD, paracip, kufril-LS, rinoclear (nasal spray), swin D3, aristozyme, zincovit, zymosaf, kidrich-d3, multi vitamin syrup ( vi- syneral), cephalexin oral suspension IP, lactulose solution USP (duphalac) oral solution . I have these all syrups pls tell me what for what disease

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understand your concerns.


From the drugs which you have Paracip in the one we use to control fever and rinoclear nasal spray used to clear the blocked nose.
Paracip dose is based upon the weight of your baby we usually give 15mg/kg body weight and you should give this every 6th hour based upon the temperature.
Rinoclear you can give two drops in each nostril every 4th hour to avoid blockage of nose.
About the remaining syrups
-Cephalexin is an antibiotic and you need to use this only after consulting your doctor.
-Swin D3 and kid richd3 are vitamin d drops used for babies upto one year to get sufficient vit d in them
-aristozyme is a appetizer used in loss of appetite cases
-kufril-LS is used for cough
-zymosaf used to treat indigestion,bloating,flatulence etc
-Zincold PD used for nasal congestion, running nose,sneezing etc
-duphalac used in constipation
-Multivitamin is there in its name
