General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

X-ray opacity is suggestive of lung infection (most probably pneumonia). Antibiotics prescribed by the doctor are still running that means you have not completed full course of antibiotics.

Usually, this type of infection requires antibiotics course of 1 week or more. So, don't worry about coughing. As treatment will be completed cough will be cured.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Hiren Hirpara
