How Can Fever And Stomach Infection In An Infant Be Treated?

My baby has a pus cell stool count 8-10hpf she has had fever since yesterday morning. 38 - 39 peak, returning to 36.9 - 37.8 range at lowst after paracetemol. Yellowy green stool, watery mucus texture. Urine normal counts, no other symptoms. She is 6mth 3week old.

Continue Paracetamol according to weight of the baby. If fever persist, better to start antibiotics like Amoxicillin (dosage is same as that of paracetamol). Continue breast feeding to prevent dehydration. If symptoms persist, you have to consult pediatrician and get evaluated.
