How Can Fever Be Treated?

Hi Doc. I have been having fever since yesterday night. Since there was no crocin at home took around 5ML crocin liquid syrup which i normally use for my toddlers. Today around IST 1100, I have taken a crocin tablet. Right now IST 1440, I feel the need to take my 2nd crocin. Can i go ahead?

hi dear,
welcome to HCM.I have analysed your query.my opinion is that,
1.you can take paracetomol(crocin) 500mg every 8 hours till fever subsides.
2.do topid spongings.
3.if the fever doesnt subside even after 5 days consult your physician.he will advice you to do fever investigations.
