Hi My daughter 19 months old had 102 F temperature yesterday around 5 PM, on doctors advice we gave her 1.25 ML paracetamol (Babygesic), again at around 10 PM she had 102 F temperature again on doctors advice we gave her another 1.25 ML, all was good for all night and today morning at 7AM the temperature was measured at 100.6 F should we be worried? Also my father and mother in law underwent treatment dengue last week.
Hello, my name is Dr Olgeta Xhufka. I understand your concern. Paracetamol is used to reduce feever over 38°C . A child can take up to 10-15 mg/kg/dose your child 120ng doze. She can take it 4-6 times daily if temperature over38 °C . You should be worried because is something cousing the feever that can't be judged by only this symptoms. Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help you. Best regards.
