How Can Fever In An Infant Be Treated?
hello sir my kid is one and half years old.She has fever for the past 3days and the doctor prescribed calpol250mg 5ml every 4 hours once but the fever has not yet reduced its 101.But again we consulted the doctor he gives clavam bid dry syrup antibiotic for recovery.But still the fever is not completely reduced its still 99-100 ranges.Also the runny nose is also there.Kindly give me the possible solution to get rid of this fever..

Try to alternate Calpol syrup with Ibuprofen syrup to have a better effect. Also you can use warm baths and wear wet clothes to your child as help to reduce temp. You should also continue taking Clavam syrup regularly. About the runny nose you can help with aerosol therapy with NaCl.
