How Can Fever, Sore Throats, Body Aches And Cold Be Treated?

My 15 year old daughter is home from school today with flu symptoms - probably fever ( I don t have a thermometer), aches and pains, sore throat. She slept most of the day, and just told me her leg went numb, which frightened her. She says her hands have been going numb off and on all day. Last week she had a cold, and we thought she was over it. A day or so ago she mentioned that her hands and feet are always cold. Is this just poor circulation, or what?

Hello.Cold hands and feet is normal when a person have fever. Your daughter should be examined by a physician to determine whether the infection is caused by viruses or bacteria.If the infection is bacteria,it is necessary prescription of antibiotic.If the infection is virus, treatment is only taking drugs to control fever (paracetamol, ibuprofen ...).
