How Can Fever While Suffering From Pneumonia Be Treated?
I a a healthy 76yr old. Been with hubby in hosp, he has pneumonia. I now have a 100.9.9 fever, normal for me is 97.9. Do I take into consideration the average for me making the reading higher than the theo. reads or is my temp just as it reads? Thanks OOPs 100.9 My e-mail is not working.

As you mentioned you have fever 100.9 with no associated symptoms so fever is unspecified yet.
you may take tab.paracetamol 650mg PO and repeat three times per day as according to condition.
water sponging also reduce the fever.
if it become worse with associated symptoms may required work up.
