General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The level of bilirubin of your husband are very high.
Treatment is needed in this case.
The main treatment for primary biliary cirrhosis is to slow liver damage with the drug Ursodiol. It is recommended three times a day.It is a prescribed medication, so you should consult your doctor before taking it.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
