How Can Fluid Retention In The Feet During Pregnancy Be Treated?
My daughter is in last few weeks of pregnancy. 3 weeks away from due date. Is very tired retaining excess fluid and has a hard time with breathing when just going grocery shopping. Any advice? How can she get rid of all the excess fluid in her feet and ankles?
Hi, Thanks for your question. I do understand your pain and discomfort. As per her history is concerned please follow -: 1)Check her Blood pressure,urine and take rest 2)If there is high pressure your local doctor will give her anti hypertensive medications 3)Corticosteroid will be added because another 21 days left ,and fetal lungs will be mature 4)keep your feet elevated while sleeping for foot swelling 5)Do an ultrasound to assess baby's status 6)Take your Calcium and other vitamins regularly I hope I was able to address your query.
