Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
My advice to you would be, do not bother about what your feeling right now and follow as the doctor as advises. Generally always trauma is followed by effusion. It drains of on its own. So no need to worry.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
