How Can Fluid Retention In The Lungs And Chronic Cough Be Treated?

My husband has small sip coffee pop any liquid and the sip plus maybe half cup more fluid pours out nose. His lungs are full fluid can hear when constant cough and chokes on the phlegm which tries to spit out but thick long strings I literally pull out with kleenex

Very little data is there to say something fro sure but this indicates that the his swallow is not safe, i think you should not feed him any more before he is assessed in detail by a doctor. He may also need treatment for his chest.
