How Can Food Poisoning Be Treated?

Hi. Thank you for responding. After a weekend of back muscle pain, my significant other has what seems to be food poisoning. He has thrown up several times and now has green diarrhea the consistency of catsup. In addition, he feels cramping above his scrotum. He has been suffering the digestive issues for two, almost three days. Please advise.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
Following are my suggestions :
1) Give Tablet Ofloxacin and Tab Ornidazole twice a day for 5 to 6days to control gastrointestinal infection.
2) Give an anti-spasmodic tow or three times a day to check abdominal pain.
3)Give enough fluids, preferably Oral rehydartion solution about a liter and a half in addition to water.
4)An emetic like domperidone if nausea and/or vomiting is persisting. These measures will relieve all the symptoms. Thanks.
