How Can Frequent UTI Be Treated?

i HAVE HAD A KIDNEY TRANSPLANT AND HAVE FREQUENT UTI S . The last lab came back identifying the organism as klebsiella pneumonie . The nephrologist phoned in a script for Cipro .. 500 mg twice a day for a week . I ve been on this for 4 days . Iam supposed to visit with my out of town daughter and wonder if this is highly contagious ?

Urine infections are not considered contagious, they are not spread from one person to the next.
