How Can Frequent Bowel Movements In An Infant Be Treated?

my child 2.5 months old she delivered as pre term at 32 week after one month she undervent sepsis had course of meronem and vancomycin for 10 days now a days she had increased frequency of bowel movements with every feed she passed stool approximately 9 times a day tell me what to do

Up to five to seven days is normal in infants. Check whether the stool is watery or not. Most often it is due to minor viral gastroenteritis it will resolve by it own. Continue breast feeding and make sure that baby is not dehydrated. If the baby develops signs of dehydration or fever or unable to take breast feeds then consult a pediatrician and get evaluated.
